BROKER SERVICES
Monitor & Evaluate Insurance Contracts
▪ Develop timeline and manage the health insurance renewal process, including negotiating the renewal rates with current carrier to ensure the most competitive rates
▪ Provide plans from alternative carriers as required; i.e. Rocky Mountain Health Plan, Pacific Life & Annuity, PacifiCare or Third Party Administrator (TPA)
▪ Determine and recommend the most effective Life, Dental, Vision and Disability plans for group implementation.
Provide Dedicated Claims Service & Analysis
▪ Full-time employee dedicated to solving & scrutinizing claims issues for accuracy
▪ One-on-one assistance for employees regarding claims or membership concerns; and can offer individual insurance options for family members
Analyze Utilization Statistics
▪ Evaluate claims experience on a quarterly basis for groups over 50
▪ Provide a semi-annual comprehensive analysis report for groups over 50
Group Term Life & Long Term Disability Programs
▪ Analyze the plans currently in place
▪ Evaluate other carriers for Life and Long Term Disability; i.e. Hartford, UNUM, Standard and others for comparison and possible group implementation.
Dental & Vision Plans
▪ Assess and quote dental and vision plans from a variety of competitive carriers.
Support Human Resource Managers
▪ Petition special exceptions from the group carrier for unique or problematic issues
▪ Assist in coordinating COBRA and Workmen’s Comp matters
▪ Inform and educate in regards to Employee Benefits and program administration
▪ Provide monthly Overage Dependent status report

▪ Personal and immediate response for manager and employee questions
▪ Available Monday through Friday
▪ Served on the Rocky Mountain Health Plans Broker Advisory Board
▪ 8-year Foundation Board member for Mercy Medical Center
▪ Positive working relationships with hospital management, area providers
and local pharmacies
